Introduction to PT Sinergi

Raw Materials

All of our materials here at PT Sinergi Handal Interplast are carefully vetted before production, ensuring that only pure and clean Kantong Polypropylene (PP) will be used for production. 

Production

To ensure steady production, we conduct preventive maintenance on our machines. The Polypropylene Sheet (Kantong PP) is made through our extrusion process.

Material Preparation

1. Polypropylene Resin: The process begins with polypropylene resin pellets, which can be of various grades and formulations depending on the desired characteristics of the sheet.
2. Drying: The resin pellets are dried to remove any moisture, as moisture can affect the quality of the extruded sheet.

Extruder

The resin pellets are fed into an extruder, which is a machine with a screw mechanism. Inside the extruder, the pellets are heated and melted to form a viscous molten polymer.

Die Design:

1. Die Shape: The die is a critical component of the extrusion process. It is designed to shape the molten polymer into the desired sheet thickness and width.
2. Die Temperature: The die is heated to maintain the polymer at the right temperature for extrusion.

Extrusion Process:

1. Melt Conveyance: The molten polymer is forced through the die by the rotating screw in the extruder. The pressure and temperature are carefully controlled to maintain a consistent melt flow.
2. Cooling: As the polymer exits the die, we use a water cooling process to solidify the sheet. 

Sizing and Calibration

The sheet then passes through our sizing and calibration equipment to ensure the correct thickness and width.

Winding and Cutting

1. The sheet may also be embossed or trimmed for specific applications as requested by our clients

2. The continuous sheet is then cut into the desired lengths or wound onto rolls depending on request for packaging and distribution.
